The participation of TeamSalomonNL was the highlight of a six-month campaign. We started in January 2019, with a social campaign where the team runners shared their 2019 resolution with our audience and inviting (trail)runners in the Netherlands to also share theirs. The incentive for participation where individual one-on-one training sessions with the team members. We had hundreds of entries, all filling in our contact form on the TeamSalomon.nl website.
The second phase was the portraits we made of the team members of TeamSalomonNL, publication spaced out in such a way that it al naturally led up to the grand finale, the Marathon du Mont-Blanc. Three long days of grueling but beautiful trails in 30+ degrees celsius, following the runners over the mountains surrounding Mont Blanc. It was a huge productional challenge, but we made it, and very proudly present the TeamSalomonNL after movie of some very normal but special people doing some amazing things. There is so much energy and joy in this team that we certainly were inspired to follow in their footsteps!
