Mammut approached us with the challenge of developing a content concept with which it could appeal to the core of its high performance oriented alpinist audience in the Benelux.
At GearLimits we want to know everything about products, but also about brands. The reason for that is that besides informing and advising our audience on gear/products, we also feel it is important for outdoor & actions sporters to know what a brand stands for, what it is all about.
Because products are always the result, or an expression of what we like to call the DNA of a brand. In Mammut’s Eiger collection we found this DNA. The result was a medium-length video on the collection in which people from Mammut told us all about the making-of. Together with this video, we did a joint promotion #geargiveaway contest on Facebook.
Both the initial film and the joint promotion where distributed through Facebook and shared through Mammut’s own channels. The Facebook post on the collection reached over 130.000 people, with over 440 likes while the video was viewed more than 34000 times on Facebook with around 5000 clicks on the post.
