Our first project with British outdoor brand Berghaus. The starting point was the Hyper 100 Jacket which Berghaus was bringing to market in the Benelux. An extremely light jacket for light and fast activities. Berghaus was looking for a unique way to market this product, but at the same time to communicate more modern, active and fresh brand values.
We came up with the “Adventure Review” concept. Staying close to the product, and the way products are reviewed at GearLimits.com, we met people from Berghaus in Kielder Forest, just an hours’ drive from their HQ, and had an amazing time in the most British of weather. The object was bringing unfiltered first impression reactions on the product.
The second video brought us to the Berghaus HQ where we got an in-depth look and explanation of what goes into make a product such as the Hyper 100 by the designers of the product themselves. A unique behind-the-scenes look at how a brand comes to developing new products.
The two video’s we produced were followed up with a joint promotion #geargiveaway campaign over Facebook which gave us two prize winners. Both the winners went on to post really great content themselves on everything they did with the jackets they won.
